My Bio
J.D. Dwyer has an extensive background in construction, homebuilding, and customer satisfaction. His career started at a young age, working for his father, who built custom homes in the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson, AZ.
After graduating from Arizona State University with a business degree in real estate, J.D. took a position with T.W. Lewis Company in Tempe, Arizona. There, he was placed in the “Management Development Program” and was able to work in many different departments. From construction to purchasing to customer service, and finally overseeing a $60 million portfolio of single-family rental homes.
After 10 great years with T.W. Lewis, he decided to leave for an opportunity to oversee all construction for Rafterhouse, another local builder that focused on custom homes in the “Arcadia” area of Phoenix, AZ. At Rafterhouse, he saw the positive impact great design and marketing could have on a construction company.
After 2 years with Rafterhouse, he left to start up Sticks & Bricks Development. J.D. lives in North Phoenix with his wife, Lindsay (a realtor), and daughters Grace & Finley.
