My Bio
Brendy, a native Phoenician, had an interest in construction at a young age. He helped his father build two custom homes for their family as well as helping with numerous other projects growing up. He too thought architecture would be his career but after framing one summer, he realized being right in the middle of it all in a field position was his true calling. After graduating from ASU with a degree in Construction Management, he worked for TW Lewis building high-end semi-custom homes. This was where he met and established a friendship with JD. He learned quickly what it took to build for demanding buyers. During the downturn, he moved to New Orleans to broaden his knowledge in heavy civil construction. While this was a great experience and he learned a tremendous amount, he missed the west and wanted to get back into residential building. After being back in Phoenix for a few years working for a home builder, the opportunity presented itself. This was a perfect fit, and he is very excited about the future of Sticks & Bricks Development.
Brendy is married to Jen, has two young boys, Matty and Tommy, and a daughter named Sammie. He enjoys spending time with his family, following building trends and traveling.
